I’m Ondrej Pluhacek, a headshot photographer based in East London. I photograph actors, creatives and professionals looking for natural, polished images for casting, LinkedIn and personal branding. Every session is relaxed and guided, so you don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose.

Preparation & planning

I recommend reading the Actor Headshot Preparation Guide for advice on clothing, grooming, outfits, and what to expect during the shoot. The goal is to help you feel relaxed, prepared, and confident before arriving for your session.

Before the shoot

Before the session, we’ll discuss your goals, how you plan to use the images, and any styling ideas. This helps us align on the look and feel you’re after so you arrive feeling prepared and confident.

During the session

During the session, I’ll guide you through posing and expression step by step. Whether it’s your first time or you’re experienced, the process is relaxed, collaborative, and tailored to you.

Image Selection

After the shoot, you’ll receive a private online gallery to review your images and make your final selections. I’m happy to offer input if you’d like a second opinion.

Retouching & Delivery

Your selected images are professionally retouched with a natural finish and delivered in high resolution, ready for use across casting, portfolios, and professional profiles.

  • This depends on the session you choose. Most sessions allow multiple looks, and you’re welcome to bring several outfit options to vary your final images.

  • Headshot images include usage for personal websites, social media and professional profiles, portfolios, and company profiles.

    If you need images for advertising or larger commercial use, licensing can be discussed separately.

  • Yes — professional, natural retouching is included.

    The aim is to refine and polish the image while keeping you looking like yourself. Natural retouching ensures you look polished without losing character.

  • You’ll receive simple guidance before the shoot. In general, clean, well-fitted clothing and solid colours work best. You’re welcome to bring multiple outfit options.

  • Final retouched images are typically delivered within 5 working days from your final image selection.

    If you’re working to a casting deadline, faster turnaround can be arranged.
